It’s great to see parents offering to help and even pick balls up so the kids can get more out of their lessons.
Section one saw two very close matches, with one having to be decided on games.
A few players were missing again, but this gave some reserve kids an opportunity to show their talents.
Edward Bliss and Jack Steenholdt both filled in and won their three sets, while the other fill-ins, Viv Thompson, Sophie Bliss, and George Pisasale, proved they deserved a regular spot in section one.
Intersport Deni eventually got the win over JC Earthworks eight sets to six, with Enzo Sztegman and Henry Pisasale both winning three sets to help their team over the line.
In the other match, Nutrien Ag was seven sets-all against Murray Darling Flights, but Nutrien Ag won slightly on games, with Jack McGrillen helping his team by winning his three sets.
Just a reminder, we have our NSW RMS tournament this Sunday, so please register ASAP.
It’s a round-robin event, which is a lot of fun, and you get plenty of matches, win, lose, or draw.
Congratulations to Charlotte Gatacre on making the Riverina PSSA tennis team, and who is now heading to Newcastle in May to compete in the state championships.
