Although highs soaring above 40°C shut down any hopes of senior sport on Saturday, the juniors of the Campaspe Tennis Association were up bright and early to get their round matches in.

Division A
Tongala continues to put in highlight performances, crushing Echuca 6 8-0 and staying unbeaten.

In the other match-up at Echuca Tennis Club, Echuca 8 got the best of a split derby over Echuca 7, winning 4-38 to 4-33.

At Rochester, Rochy 4 outclassed Elmore 5-3, while LBU 2 couldn’t get a side together, forfeiting to Rochy 3.
Elmore 1 visited Rich River and prevailed 7-1.

Division B
Echuca 9 is the perfect leader in the division, staying on top with a 5-1 victory over Colbo 2.
Rochy 5, Elmore 4 and Echuca 13 had comprehensive 6-0 victories, while LBU 3 got the win over Echuca 12 five sets to one.

Division C
The battles were slightly closer in Division C, as sides jockeyed for finals places.
Echuca 17 moved to the top with a win over previous leader LBU 4, 4-2.
All six sets were tight, finishing 6-4 or 6-5.
Colbo 3 also lost ground, defeated by Echuca 16 4-2, while a local showdown saw Rochy 8 get the best of Rochy 9 also 4-2.
The result between Elmore 5 and Rochy 7 wasn’t available.
