On Sunday, May 18, our KNA under-13 representative team, coached by Sheree Starling, competed in the reserves section of the Echuca Netball Association Tournament.
The team played six 14-minute games, finishing with an impressive five wins and one loss — earning them a spot in the semi final.
In a hard-fought match, the girls narrowly missed out on a place in the grand final.
Despite the result, it was a fantastic experience for our young netballers and a great day was had by all.
We are incredibly proud of the team and the way they represented both the association and themselves — with determination, teamwork and sportsmanship.
Team members: Tilly Forde, Belle Tracey-Glover, Zanna Chapman, Isla Smith, Marley Vernon, Isla Fitzgerald, Layla Old, Lylah Newman and Teisha Cope.
Well done girls.

Under-11 Suns
On Sunday, our Ky Suns under-11 representative team travelled to Echuca to compete in the EDNA Netball Tournament.
Coached by John Forde, the team played six games throughout the day, finishing with four solid wins and two hard-fought, narrow losses.
The girls displayed incredible effort, teamwork and resilience from start to finish.
Their performance reflected not only their growth, skills and sportsmanship, but also their determination and pride in representing their team and KNA.
Each player should be extremely proud of their efforts.
It was a fantastic experience for the girls to take part in a competitive tournament like this — not just to develop their game, but also to strengthen the friendships that make team sports so rewarding.
Team members: Ella Ford, Ella Morris, Sophie Coombs, Addi Howard, Georgia McIntosh, Antonia Depasquale, Olive Halstead, Elsie Stevens and Maddi Old.
While neither side will be participating in the Shepparton District Netball Association’s annual tournament, they will both be in action for their home Kyabram Netball Association tournament, to be held at Kyabram Northern Oval on Sunday, June 15.
