Josh Robertson with 63 and Lachy Hill with 55 provided the bulk of the runs for the visitors.
Matt McDonald, Jason Parsons, Kyle Fitzgerald and Paul Wickham each claimed two wickets for the Redbacks, with Wickham the most economical.
Kyabram can’t lose its place in the top six if its run chase fails this Saturday, but a defeat could cost it a move from its current fourth position.
Jim McGregor C-grade shield
Undera continued its dominant season with a 10-wicket win over Pine Lodge.
The Lions elected to bowl first, and Glenn Campbell was in fine form, taking two wickets in his first two overs by dismissing Jake Young and Ryan Sutherland.
Campbell took 4-26 to lead the attack, being supplemented by two wickets from Cameron Grogan as Undera dismantled the order for a total of just 52, with only Steven Van Taarling (26) registering a score of note for the visitors.
Chasing a low score was never an issue for the table-toppers, as openers Travis Guppy (42 not out) and Chris Hauser (8 not out) raced the side to victory in only the eighth over.
Undera remains marginally ahead of Old Students on the ladder, and the final round will see these top two sides face each other before finals.
Whitelock E-grade shield
Kyabram’s E-grade side climbed into second place on the ladder with a 10-wicket demolition of Karramomus.
Kyabram’s openers, Lachlan Dennis (50 retired) and Kristian Chambers (30 not out), and Riley Nicholson (8 not out) guided the Redbacks home without the loss of a wicket.
Batting first, Karramomus was restricted to 9-103 by tight bowling from the Kyabram trundlers, led by Jonathan Hipwell with 3-17 off four overs and Riley Nicholson with 2-7 off five overs.
Kyabram meets top side Waaia in the final round this Saturday in the lead into finals.
