The Redbacks batted first and found the going extremely slow throughout their almost 45 overs in the middle, posting a run rate in the low twos.
The consistent fall of wickets didn’t help their case, and aside from a 27-run opening stand, 16 was the most a pairing put on together during the innings.
Troy Thomson (34) had a decent afternoon, the only Redback to pass 20 as his side was bowled out for 114.
CPSTB’s Alexander Robertson was his side’s best with the ball, taking 3-19.
Max Hooper succeeded where others had failed when it came time for the run chase, making scoring look easy as CPSTB ran down the target in 23.5 overs.
He hit nine fours and a six on his way to 76 from 77 deliveries.
Kyabram only managed two wickets, Matthew McDonald and Dylan Lopez both taking scalps.

Undera extended its lead at the top of the competition, earning a 59-run win over one of its primary challengers, Karramomus.
The Lions batted first, and Travis Guppy and Bayden Bailey made it look easy in a 106-run second-wicket stand.
Both would raise the bat for 50s, Guppy eventually departing for 65, while Bailey remained a positive presence batting with the middle order.
He made it to the final over, but as a century beckoned, Bailey holed out for 93.
The Lions produced 5-223 in their 40 overs.
The Karramomus chase produced a few middling scores, Daniel Strudwick the innings' leader with 36, while Andrew Hawker (29) and Jagjeevanjeet Singh (28) both made starts.
However, Undera wasn’t to be denied, and Joel Bunce (4-58) and Ash Hockey (3-34) led the way with the ball as the Lions dismissed Karramomus for 164.
The Whitelock E-grade shield fixture between Kyabram and Tatura at Kyabram P-12 College was abandoned.
