In the final home-and-away round of the season, the Deniliquin Rovers fourths travelled to Blighty and came away with a dominant performance.
It's always a great rivalry between the two clubs.
A blistering start saw the Rovers pile on 6.2 to nil in the opening term, thanks largely to the sharp work of Callan Leiper and Jobe Unwin up forward.
On-ballers Ryan Squires, Taj McCully, and Ryan Bulmer controlled the contest early, giving Rovers first use of the ball.
The second quarter was all Rovers, with a flawless eight straight goals stretching the margin to 86 points at half-time.
Lucas Braybon, Michael Benger, and Ryan Squires each hit the scoreboard multiple times, pushing the lead beyond triple figures.
Callan Leiper capped off his outstanding day with his sixth goal in the final quarter, well supported by Jobe Unwin with four and Ryan Squires with three.
Blighty showed great signs that they were willing to make the game competitive. They battled right up until the last quarter when they became a bit flat.
But all players tried to do their best.
Andrew Frost, Hudson Kelly and Harlem Morgan all tried to lift the team and didn’t stop all game.
Jack Brown had another strong game in defence, along with Liam Gordon, who had some good ball contests.
Best on for Blighty was Zane Sibraa, who nearly had his best game of the year. He put in some great tackles, and ran and contested the ball.
Degan Morgan once again was solid in defence, taking some great marks.
Logan Andrews stepped up with a much better game and Helen Fevaleak had another strong game in the centre, winning the ball.
Ruby Gordon was awarded the Kelly Family award for her great first half of the game.

The Rovers faced a tough challenge against some very strong competitors.
However, they saw plenty of great ball movement, especially through the middle thanks to some of the older players.
Everyone gave it their all, including all the younger kids.
It was fantastic to see all the kids having fun in their final game of the year.
It was a high pressure game, and it was great to watch the sportsmanship that was shown.
Blighty expressed thanks to the four Rovers boys who joined the Redeyes for the day. They played an unbiased game, and gave an amazing effort, showcasing some of the Rovers’ upcoming talent.
As the final game of the season, Blighty had a little fun with ‘bring anything but a bag’.
There were some creative ideas coming through our clubroom door, with the top three being a portable toilet, a gator and a blender.
