Semmel aims for best and fairest quinella

Ryan Semmel completed the first of what could be a best and fairest quinella when he was voted Stanhope Football Netball Club’s senior best and fairest winner last week.

Semmel is the hot favourite to pick up the league award when the count is completed under a virtual format tomorrow evening (Thursday, September 27), after a delay of a week because of the day of mourning for the Queen.

He won the Stanhope club award ahead of brother Luke, with ruckman Daniel Flynn third.
