Cartwright has become the 92nd female player to don the green and gold, receiving her Jackaroo cap from her idol Kylie Lavis alongside fellow Moama Steamer Cassandra Millerick.
In just nine years, Cartwright has gone from a local junior to the world stage, playing in the Right at Home Australian Jackaroos’ test tour of Scotland.
The Australian side is currently dominating the Scotland outfit, extending its lead to 160 game points from 120 at the commencement of play on day three.
From a total of 142 games completed, Australia has won 95, lost 40 and drawn 7.
KDTA Junior Round Robins kick off this weekend
Kyabram District Tennis Association’s Junior Round Robin Tennis tournament is kicking off this Saturday, October 11 at Kyabram Lawn Tennis Club.
Set for a 9am start, the competition will see some of the best young players compete over three Saturdays with the other two rounds taking place on October 18 and October 25.
The tournament is the perfect warm-up for experienced juniors and newcomers before the junior season commences on Saturday, November 8.
