Stanhope will remember its premierships of 1976, 1986 and 1996 on August 7 and 8.
Years ending in six have formed an important part of the history of Stanhope Football Netball Club.

Joining the Heathcote District League in 1976, the club would win all three football grades in its debut campaign; senior, reserves and under-16s.
Ten years later, the club repeated the feat in the top grade, winning the 1986 senior premiership.
And another 10 years on, now in its current home of the Kyabram District League, the club’s A-grade netballers and under-17 footballers claimed 1996 titles.
On Friday, August 7, and Saturday, August 8, club members will remember each of those championships with reunion festivities.
The 1996 A-grade netball crown will be one of the historic premierships celebrated.
“For those who haven’t already committed to the weekend, please consider this your invitation,” club president Graeme Nurse said.
“If you are a past player, official, supporter or friend of the club, we hope to see you at this special reunion weekend on Friday and Saturday, August 7 and 8.”
The event started on Friday at 6pm with a chance to reminisce with old teammates and watch classic game footage in the clubrooms.
Then on Saturday, the celebrations continue with a sit-down lunch from noon, at a cost of $20 per person, before the opportunity to take in the current day Lions’ round 17 clash with Shepparton East.
“In recent years we’ve really enjoyed acknowledging the history of the club and this event will be no different,” Nurse said.
