With Easter fast approaching Kyabram Lawn Tennis Club committee members are hard at work preparing for their biggest fundraiser and event of the year.

The KLTC Easter tournament has been known for years for its combination of friendly atmosphere and stiff competition, ensuring the weekend has something for everyone.

People travel from across the state to play on some of the premier lawn courts in the region.

The tournament brings more than 250 people to the town who support the local community and accommodation options.

This year will see the return of veterans doubles events for those aged over 30, the first time these events have been held since before the COVID-19 pandemic hit.

The weekend will also be the first time Kyabram Lawn Tennis Club will offer prizemoney on all days, with every open event winner and runner-up to be sponsored by Hurley’s Bar and Bistro.

Major sponsor Kyabram Club has given $1500 to assist in the set up and running of the tournament, and Kyabram Lawn Tennis Club members thank all those who sponsor the event.

If you are looking to enter into any of the doubles, veterans doubles, singles and mixed doubles events, enter via the Kyabram Lawn Tennis Club Facebook page and website or contact tournament director Mitchell Cox on 0497 291 197.
