The Ovens and Murray Pennant Division 4 meet was held on Sunday, January 11, hosted by Albury Swimming Club.

The event saw nine swimmers from Yarrawonga Mulwala Swimming Club take to the pool, representing the club with enthusiasm and strong team spirit throughout the meet, with some great performances coming from the club’s younger swimmers.
Sam Kennedy (12) delivered a strong performance, racing in four events and achieving three personal bests.
Sam made significant gains, taking 11.61 seconds off his 50m Breaststroke, 6.91 seconds off his 50m Backstroke, and 2.06 seconds off his 50m Freestyle.

Stand-out performances also came from Matilda Courtney (9), who competed in three events and recorded personal bests in two of them.
Matilda took an impressive 0.42 seconds off her 50m Backstroke and 3.35 seconds off her 50m Freestyle, while also recording her first official time in the Girls 50m Breaststroke.
The team was supported by Coach Jocelyn on the day, with all swimmers continuing to show great improvement and commitment to their swimming.
