Kyabram under-18 footballers have lead from the front and visited the Auskick children of the Kyabram community.
With over 70 registrations this season, it’s important they are supported with senior footballers, so the children can be introduced to the game to develop their emerging football skills.
The young Kyabram footballers have a healthy attitude towards Australian football and physical activity, which is supported by the number of players that we are seeing at Kyabram Recreation Reserve this season.
Kyabram Football Club under-18s captain Lachlan Carver demonstrated leadership in his community, mentoring the young Kyabram footballers.
“It’s important we help out in developing the skills of young kids,” he said.
Volunteering our time also enables us to give back to our community, which I enjoy.“
Kyabram Football Club looks forward to seeing these budding young footballers in the future.
