The actor, who famously played Han Solo, is launching the limited edition Glenmorangie Highland Scotch whisky on May 4 - which happens to be Star Wars Day.
The Hollywood star featured in an advertising campaign for Glenmorangie released in 2025, appearing in a series of videos titled Once Upon a Time in Scotland.
The films show Ford getting to grips with Scottish pronunciation and kilt etiquette, bonding with locals over a dram and getting to know the Duff family behind the whisky brand.
His limited edition single malt whisky was crafted in collaboration with Glenmorangie's director of whisky creation Bill Lumsden.
Dr Lumsden sent samples across the Atlantic to help shape the actor's signature whisky until a combination was found that met with his approval.
A new video will be released for the limited edition whisky, where a kilted Ford sips it and says: "It's very nice."
He also reflects on his time filming in Scotland and his pride at working with the distillers.
Tasting notes for the spirit say it is "brimful of tangy, zesty citrus fruits" while it has "softer notes of baked bread, apricot, muscovado sugar and butter candy".
"Collaborating with Dr Bill was a real treat - a chance to get inside the mind of a maker who combines art and science to create incredible single malt Scotch whisky," Ford said when describing how he came to create the beverage.
"We tasted many casks together on our search for a Glenmorangie that would speak to my taste.
"Truth be told, I liked a lot of them - but the Glenmorangie Harrison Ford Limited Edition is everything I want in a whisky.
"I'm immensely proud of our creation. I hope you enjoy it. I certainly do."
Dr Lumsden said he was thrilled to make the actor an honorary member of the whisky creation team.
"In keeping with our signature style - and Harrison's - the Glenmorangie Harrison Ford Limited Edition is very elegant and smooth.
"But since Harrison also likes his whisky with a little bite, we layered classic bourbon casks with the tang and structure of toasted Portuguese red wine casks.
"You'll taste all the hallmark Glenmorangie notes of honeysuckle, citrus and buttery softness, countered by a marmalade edge and grippy tannins.
"This whisky is timeless and endlessly surprising … much like Harrison himself."
