Greater Shepparton City Council and GV Health Foundation are teaming up to host a day dedicated to community wellbeing, spotlighting the holistic health services available in the region.
On Sunday, October 29, the doors of Riverlinks Eastbank will swing wide open to welcome residents to the event.
With an overwhelming response from the local health and wellbeing sector, the exhibition spaces are now reported to be at full capacity, hosting around 40 of the region’s foremost professionals and innovators.
“We have received a lot of interest from our local health and wellbeing sector to exhibit at the event and are pleased to say we are at capacity in terms of exhibitors,” Greater Shepparton City Council’s acting team leader of marketing Laura Church said.
“We have a broad range of exhibitors encompassing physical, mental and spiritual health. You’ll be able to find a list of exhibitors and event programs on the Health and Wellbeing Event website.”
One of the exhibitors, Muse Mind and Movement owner Chez McIlroy, shared her enthusiasm for the event and the timely focus on holistic health.
“I’m very, very excited. I think it’s something Shepparton’s needed for a long time,” she said.
She also acknowledged the event’s organisation, citing her experience as a participant and highlighting the importance of community connection fostered through such platforms.
Attendees can expect an enriching day packed with informative talks, demonstrations, and group workshops that provide tools and insights into building a healthier lifestyle.
“This is your day to come together with family and friends and enjoy a day of feel-good activities, connect with and learn something new, hear from our local experts and go home feeling supported and motivated,” Mrs Church said.
For those eager to learn how to foster mental, physical, and spiritual health, this event is a golden opportunity to connect with local businesses and organisations, ready to dispense valuable advice and answers to all wellness-related queries.
The event is also scheduled concurrently with the Ladies Who Lunch Event at Riverlinks Eastbank, with all proceeds to support women’s oncology at GV Health.
