Remembrance Day: Kyabram

ON MONDAY last week, at the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month, Kyabram stood still and silent.

Heads bowed as the community remembered the many — too many — men and women who fought and died in World War I and all the wars and conflicts since then.

Up to, and including, our personnel serving in the Middle East today.

Crowds gathered at Kyabram War Memorial on Monday to take part in the local Remembrance Day ceremony.

And students from Kyabram P-12 College also paid their respects, laying poppy wreaths they made themselves at the base of the school flags.
