FOR the protection of patients, doctors, nurses and practice staff, and for the duration of the current coronavirus epidemic, patients presenting to Kyabram Regional Clinic at 98 Fenaughty St will be screened (including temperature checks) by one of its nurses or staff at the front door before being allowed access to the building.
Clinic spokesman Dr Robert Brun said unfortunately the practice is unable to provide this service at weekends.
Dr Brun said because of that weekend consultations will be by telephone only, on 5852 1888.
He said from that conversation patients considered to be in need would be directed to the Kyabram District Health Service at 88 Fenaughty St, “where they will be triaged” by nursing staff.
“We apologise for the inconvenience and hope to resume normal services as soon as possible,” Dr Brun added.
