Police are investigating after a body was found in the Murray River at the weekend.

Emergency services were called to River Rd, Barooga on Sunday, July 5 at around 8.15am after receiving reports there was a body in the river.
Murray River police and the SES attended the scene, with SES crews recovering the body of a man from the water at around 10.15am.
The man is yet to be formally identified and police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
A report will be prepared for the coroner.
