Glanville Village residents came together with Echuca Regional Health staff for an early Anzac ceremony on Wednesday, April 22.

Echuca Regional Health aged care nurse unit manager Danielle Clark opened the ceremony by honouring those who served and shared a touching story about her recent trip to Gallipoli.
Glanville Village resident Dennis Shannahan read the ‘Ode of Remembrance’ at the ceremony.

“The amount of respect we have for this day is immense.”
“We respect the diggers, who fought back in the first World War, but also all our soldiers, men and women, who have gone to war over the years, in every war that they fought for Australia.”
“We honour them today and especially on Saturday.”
Glanville resident Dennis Shannahan read the Ode of Remembrance, before ceremony conductor Jefferson Smith delivered a rendition of the Australian National Anthem and played The Last Post.
The Anzac ceremony was well attended by Glanville residents.
