The beautiful Seven Creeks Park in Euroa is the backdrop for a picnic aimed at welcoming women who may be new to Australia.

In early May last year, Euroa was host to a large contingent of women from Shepparton who came to enjoy the park’s beauty and share an array of fabulous dishes.
They came, via Shepparton, from 14 different countries, and yet they were all Australian residents and many are permanent residents with Australian citizenship.
On Thursday, April 30 at 10am, they are coming again to be welcomed by women of the Strathbogie Shire, and any woman with or without children in tow, are welcome to join.
Organised jointly by Rural Australians for Refugees Strathbogie Shire and the Shepparton SELC Community Hub, it is envisaged that this will become an annual event.
