However, as KDHS volunteer co-ordinator Alma Limbrick points out, volunteers are needed to physically drive the program.

“We’d love to get the residents out and about, and we’d love if anyone interested would give up a few hours of their week to help out,” she said.

The van doesn’t require additional licences other than a standard driver's licence, making it easy for any eager volunteers to help out.
