An internationally acclaimed theatre company, Kinetic Theatre, was responsible for the appearance of the snails in Echuca, Kyabram, Rochester and Rushworth.
Originating on the streets of Fremantle in 1996, Kinetic is now based in Melbourne, and consists of a versatile troupe of performers whose training includes mime, stage acting, physical theatre, puppetry, improvisation, clowning, and costume design.
Their eclectic skills have combined to produce a variety of original shows and several commissioned performances both in Australia and abroad.
The company has been invited to festivals and events in Japan, Singapore, Canada, New Zealand and throughout Europe.
Winter holiday activities continue this week in Kyabram, with a two-hour camel ride event at Edis Park from 10am until noon.
On Saturday from 10am to 11.30am a meet the animals event will be held in Allan St, while Rushworth will host the meet the animals event at 10am on Friday (July 8).
At the Kyabram Library there is dream catcher making from 4pm today (Wednesday, July 6), while Thursday at 2.30pm is dragon mobile making.
