As town residents prepare to celebrate the milestone later in the year, local historian Eileen Sullivan has dug out a map of the town from years gone by.
The township of Kyabram, Parish of Kyabram East, County of Rodney was surveyed by Henry Moorhouse.
This map shows the early development of the township, between Church St and Albion St to the east and Allan St to the railway station to the north.
The date of purchase of most of the blocks of land and the size of the blocks are shown. The smaller blocks are hard to read, so Eileen has recorded them.

The police reserve in Church St was later gazetted to a recreation reserve with the triangle allotment to the east gazetted for police purposes and a court house.
That short street was named Cussen St on another map – later Tulloh St and the street north of Bradley St was named Brown St – later Unitt St.
Note that the gate approach to the passenger platform of the railway station is marked in.
