The young Bombers will meet Shepparton Swans in the season decider after the Swans defeated Echuca in the preliminary final last Sunday.
Kyabram club legend Paul Newman, who coaches Kyabram believes, his side can win the flag – if it plays at its best.
‘‘We beat them in the second semi on a wet ground, but conditions aren’t likely to be like that again, so it’s a whole new ball game,” he said.
“They are a team not to be taken lightly and it should be a pretty even contest.’’
The two sides have met twice this season and have had a win each.
Newman is hoping for Kyabram fans to get to the game and see some of the club’s future stars in action.
‘‘I think a lot of Ky supporters who haven’t seen this side in action will be pleasantly surprised,” he said.
The game at Deakin Reserve, Shepparton, starts at 2.30pm and will follow the division two grand final between Moama and Shepparton United.
