When police arrived, the driver remained in the vehicle before allegedly reversing “at speed” into the front of the police vehicle, rendering it unable to be driven, Det Sgt Williams said.
The driver allegedly fled the scene and was arrested at Undera a short time later, he said.

Police air wing and the canine squad helped find the driver.
