Club Corowa Cannons vs Rutherglen – Thursday, September 24 at Rutherglen under lights.
This was well supported, withs thanks to Rutherglen for hosting the event, which saw 72 bowlers participate.
Social Bowls – Tuesday, September, 22
With only 12 bowlers last week, six games of pairs and two games of eight ends were played.
Winners were Peter Summerill and Dux MacQueen.
Runners Up were Ketch and Lynne Bowler.
Ladies Minor Singles Championship Final 2026-27

Susie defeated Lynne Bowler, who qualified for the final in her very first season of bowls.
Men's Minor Singles Championship - Round Three
Stuart McNeill defeated Jason Long.
Scott Widdison defeated Peter Mills.
The Men's final will be played this weekend between Stuart McNeill and Scott Widdison.

Corowa Civic Bowls Club
Corowa Civic Bowls Club and Chiltern Bowling Club came together for the inaugural Helena Rosenow Shield on Sunday.
On Sunday, Corowa Civic Bowls hosted Chiltern Bowling Club for the inaugural Helena Rosenow Shield, and the weather again couldn’t have been better.
Winners on the day were Chiltern, but it was a great example of camaraderie between the two clubs and was a fantastic way to get ready for the upcoming pennant season.
Corowa Civic Bowls Club Wednesday Socials winners John Dalgleish, Deb Townsend and Terry Shields.
Social bowls on Wednesday saw the club host members from Griffith Bowls Club, with a BBQ lunch before the game setting the mood for the afternoon.
Winners on the day were both clubs, who can hopefully do the same next year.

A disappointing turnout on Sunday saw winners Gloria McCluskey, and Greg Williamson on 17 and 17 (34) defeating runners-up Georgie Agnew and Joe Carnivale on 17 and 16 (33).
Tuesday’s winners on 18 and 4 (22) were Joan Catlin, Helen Palmer, Kerry Whalley, and Gloria McCluskey, with runners-up on 17 and 3 (20) being Wendy Dunbar, Jan Webber, Greg Williamson, and Merylyn Milthorpe.
Thursday’s winners on 17 and 16 (33) were Helen Palmer, Gloria McCluskey, and Kerry Whalley, and on 15 and 17 (32) were runners-up Peter Manning, Greg Williamson, and Graham Withers.
