Three Kyabram players; Zac Norris, Jack Russell and Aidan Robinson, are in a squad of 30 players from which the GVL’s final team will be selected after a final training session tonight.
Anthony Depasquale is also in the squad, but is unlikely to be available due to commitments with VFA side Werribee.
Norris and Robinson have represented the league before, but Russell will be making his debut for the GVL after joining the Bombers from Murray League club Moama last year.
Russell and Norris have had stellar seasons, but Robinson, who skippered the league last year, has had an interrupted season with some injury concerns.
He has played the last two games for the Bombers.
The VAFA selects its side from only two of several divisions, but GVL operations manager Brad Noonan said it will field a very strong side.
Kyabram will have two representatives in the Under 19’s clash which will be a curtain raiser to the main game.
Charlie Isaac, who starred for the Kyabram seniors last Saturday and Isaiah Scoble have been named in the GVL squad which is being coached by Ramadan Yze.
The under-19s clash will start at 11am and the senior game starts at 2.20pm.
Both games will be live-streamed from the VAFA website.
