The Magpies were locked in a battle for both the minor premiership and a top-two position heading into the final round 18.
Needing to win and potentially do so by a huge margin to reach its goals, Euroa raced out to a 32-4 lead by the end of the first period, as Kyabram offered little resistance.
The Bombers added six to their tally in the second quarter, but the match as a contest was over by half-time, Euroa continuing to score freely as it was up 55-10.
The hosts continued their avalanche throughout the second half, adding another 52 goals across the third and fourth periods to run out victors 107-16.
Ella Hooper (nine), Jazmin Clark (six) and Stephanie Iskra (one) were Ky’s three goalscorers on the day.
Meanwhile, goal defence Grace Kilpatrick was named the Bombers’ best via the club’s Facebook page.
Kyabram was unable to post an A-grade win from its 18 matches as it finished bottom of the GVL netball ladder, the side having not tasted victory since July 19, 2025.
Winless campaigns were also recorded by the club’s B-grade and B reserve outfits, though the under-17 and under-15 Bombers had better seasons, posting five and three victories, respectively.
The under-17 side lost its final match to Euroa 63-35, but the team still had cause to celebrate on the day, as goalkeeper Shylee Donaldson played her 50th club game in the loss.
Elsewhere within the junior ranks of Kyabram’s netball program, the club’s under-13 Baby Bombers are in the middle of a finals campaign in the Shepparton Netball Association.
After finishing second in its four-team division with a 5-5 record, Kyabram faced Shepparton United Red in a grand final qualifier but lost 54-27.
That result condemned the Baby Bombers to a preliminary final this Saturday, August 29 against Shepparton Swans White, with the match taking place at McEwen Reserve from 12.45pm.
