With the Goulburn Valley League regular season coming to a close, Echuca has emerged as heavy favourites to claim the lower grade football crowns, with the club’s reserves and under-18 sides posting unbeaten campaigns.

Echuca heads into finals with a mammoth percentage of 713.45, racking up 1962 points and conceding just 275 over a perfect 18-0 season.
The Murray Bombers finished the year with a crushing 207-0 victory over Mooroopna.
The side is now potentially just three wins away from the flag, that campaign beginning with a qualifying final this Saturday.

A late start at Rochester Recreation Reserve will see the Murray Bombers battle Kyabram from 3.15pm.
Echuca has won the previous meetings by 28 and 21 points respectively.

Echuca’s thirds are in a similar position, also perfect 18-0 and also coming into finals off the back of a dominant final round win over Mooroopna.
The Murray Bombers cleaned through the Cats 15.12 (102) to 4.6 (30), and now head into a qualifying final with Shepparton Bears.
The previous meeting resulted in a 27 point Echuca win, but the Bears will be hoping to kick better than the 2.12 they posted in that game.
The match will also be held in Rochester on Saturday, starting at 1pm.
