The Road dropped points for the first time this campaign last week, but bounced back producing a blistering first-half display before cruising to a 13.14 (92) to 5.3 (33) triumph on Saturday.
The Road looked every bit the competition benchmark from the opening bounce, kicking the first five goals of the afternoon to leave the Magpies shell-shocked.
Daniel Schaper led the way with a magnificent seven-goal haul, while James Boyer, Robbie Mifka, Sam Ferguson, Sam Poole, Wade Bonham, Brodie Gee and Wil Norman all chipped in with majors.
Congupna’s dominance was reflected on the scoreboard at every change.
The home side raced to a 31-1 quarter-time advantage before piling on another 46 points in the second term to establish an unassailable 77-14 lead at the main break.
Moama steadied after half-time, but the damage had long been done as Congupna eased to victory after leading 82-21 at the final change.

Moama managed just one behind in the opening quarter before eventually finding some scoreboard reward through Curtis Wood, Henry Brown, Dane Dickinson and Jack Kohn, but it was never enough to trouble the reigning premiers.
Around the grounds, Tongala strengthened its finals aspirations with a 9.13 (67) to 6.6 (42) win over Echuca United on the road.
Mulwala claimed one of the results of the round, defeating Nathalia 13.14 (92) to 12.5 (77) in a high-scoring contest to hand the Purples an important defeat.
Cobram remained firmly in the finals hunt with a convincing 12.25 (97) to 8.2 (50) victory over Rumbalara, while Numurkah piled on another triple-figure score in its 16.5 (101) to 7.10 (52) win against Deniliquin, as Finley had the bye.
