Jerilderie’s under-13s netball team ended their 2026 season with a 20-16 loss to Tocumwal in the preliminary final at Blighty on Sunday.

A spokesperson said the club was “incredibly proud” of the team’s season.
With only three top-age players in the side, making it to the preliminary final was a fantastic achievement.
“What an amazing year they have all had, with every single player showing so much growth, determination and development throughout the season,” the spokesperson said.
The team went out strong in the preliminary final and the score was locked at 3-3 at quarter time.
The third quarter saw Jerilderie drop the intensity slightly and make a few costly errors, allowing Toc to gain the momentum and take a 14-10 lead into the final break.
But the Demons team were not finished. The players came out firing in the final quarter, working their way back to within two goals.
Despite their incredible effort and determination, Toc held on to take the win.
