A local teenager has just played two games of golf over a six-day period and has scored an ace in both rounds.
Playing socially with a mate, Jonty Sefton, Wil Harrison holed out on the par three 157m fourth hole at Parkland on Friday, April 18, with a six iron.
He then repeated the dose last Wednesday at Valley View when, using a wedge, he sunk a 107m tee shot on the 15th hole.
Wil said the ace was hit from the ladies tee.
He has been playing golf for only three years and at just 16 years of age, is a promising golfer playing off a handicap of nine.
He is also an emerging cricketer who specialises in spin bowling, who played the recent season in Kyabram Fire Brigade’s John McMahon Shield side in the Goulburn Murray Cricket Association’s top competition.
At present, he is a member of the Kyabram thirds football side, so can be classed as a gifted all-round young sportsman.
But obviously, Wil has to make some hard decisions on which sporting path he intends to take in the future.
