16°CKEIMAN,
Astrid T
24 December 1936 -
27 September 2026
aged 89 years.
Passed away peacefully
at Clayton Church Home,
Woodside.
Astrid was a much-loved
and cherished lady,
loved by all who knew her, and
especially by her dear
friends,
Deborah and Dinah.
She had a deep love and
appreciation for the beauty
of the Australian landscape
and all the feathered and
furry creatures that
shared it.
Her gentle nature,
warmth and love of animals
touched the hearts of many.
Some may fondly remember
Astrid's romantic
bed-and- breakfast;
or memorable
dinner parties she hosted in
her charming, rustic home
outside Palmer.
Astrid will be sadly missed,
but her memory will live on
in the beauty of the
Australian landscape, the birdsong, the animals she loved so dearly,
and in the hearts of all those
who were fortunate enough
to know her.
Rest peacefully, Astrid, amongst the birdsong and beauty of our native bush and gum trees.
