Hayden Panettiere: A life lived in full view
From Heroes and Nashville to her candid final memoir, Hayden Panettiere leaves a body of work shaped by talent, vulnerability and determination.
16°CDad passed away peacefully at The Prince Charles Hospital, with his loving daughter, Vivian, and son, Grant, by his side, on 26 August 2026, shortly after an unexpected cancer diagnosis.
He will be greatly missed - by his immediate family in Brisbane; daughter-in-law Marion, grandsons Shaun and Hayden and great-nephew Nelson; and his extended family and friends in QLD, N.Z. and the U.S.
We are holding an informal gathering to remember Dad’s life and the many things that made him so special to all of us.
Whether you would like to share a story, listen to others, or simply spend time reflecting with those who shared in his life and friendship, we would love to see you there.
When: Friday 23 October 2026, 3:00pm - 6:00pm
Where: The Shorncliffe Room, The Full Moon Hotel, 118 Eagle Terrace, Sandgate
Afternoon tea and beverages will be provided.
If you can't make it, please feel free to send through a message, memory, or photo. We’d be honoured to share it with everyone on the day.
With love,
Viv and Grant
