ROBSON , Rodney Kenneth “Chirpa”
The Geelong College community extends its heartfelt condolences to Chirpa’s wife, Bronwyn, his sons Mark (OGC 1991) and Alister (OGC 1993), and their extended family on his passing.
Chirpa was a devoted and highly valued member of The Geelong College community, whose contribution spanned more than two decades of dedicated service. He served on The Geelong College Council from 1992 to 2012 and played a significant role in shaping the direction of the College during a period of growth and change. In recognition of his outstanding service and commitment, he was appointed a Life Governor of the College in 2015.
He will be remembered for his deep loyalty to the College, his wise counsel, and the warmth, generosity and gently mischievous sense of humour he brought to all he did.
