Rod passed away in Melbourne on Monday 9th February after battling a long illness. The loved Son of Alan (deceased) and Janet Sherwin (nee Edmunds). Brother of Steven and Denis. Brother-in-Law of Sari. Uncle to Andrew and Joel. Gruncle to Liara. Grandson of William and Mabel Sherwin (both deceased) of Townsville and Lawrence and Enid Edmunds (both deceased) of Mackay.

Rod is to be privately cremated in Melbourne.

A Memorial Service to farewell Rod will be held in Townsville on a date to be announced.
