Passed away peacefully with family on 9th June 2026, aged 94 years. Much loved Wife of Peter (dec'd); Mother of Simon, David (dec'd), Margot, Andrew, Hugh, Fiona, Jamie (dec'd); Mother-in-law and friend to Julia, Margaret, Andy, Sally and Lane; precious and wise Granny to 13 much loved young people; and revered Great-Granny to 13 more beautiful children. Admired and loved by many.

Shirley's relatives and friends are invited to attend a celebration of her life at T.S. Burstow's Chapel, 1020 Ruthven Street (south), Toowoomba, commencing at 2.30pm, Monday, 22nd June 2026, followed by afternoon tea in the Pioneers Room.
