JOHNSON, Shirley Irene (Nee Byrnes)
Late of Kairi, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, 26th April 2026, aged 94 years.
Beloved wife of Thomas Patrick Johnson “TP” (dec).
Loving mother and mother-in-law of Meryl, Gayel, Ross, Patrice and their families. Cherished grandmother and great-grandmother. Loved sister, aunty, cousin, and the much loved matriarch of her family.
A life well lived, filled with love, family, and kindness. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Family would like to sincerely thank all the staff at Carinya, Atherton Hospital and Alice St Medical Centre for all their love and care.
Family and friends of Shirley are respectfully invited to attend her funeral service which will be held at Mountain View Chapel, Guilfoyle’s Tablelands Crematorium on Tuesday, 5th May 2026 commencing at 1:00pm, followed by an interment in the Atherton cemetery.
