After sitting out the 2018 season, Reeves returned to be a dominant force as the juggernaut re-established themselves as the best team in the Goulburn Valley League.
The dominant ruckman once again shined on the big stage to win his second Wilf Cox medal to go along with his 2016 AFL Victoria Country medal.
From the first bounce, Reeves established his dominance against Echuca big men Jobee Warde and Kane Morris who struggled to get their hands on the ball first.
But he was not ready to accept personal accolades for his performance.
“We’ve got some superstars in the middle of the ground – “Weardo” (Patrick Wearden), Mick Mattingly) just to name a few.
“They tend to make you look good as a ruckman when they are able to deliver the ball to your forwards out of the middle.
“Zac Norris and I are very fortunate to have them at our feet.”
While there may be stars across every line for the Bombers, Reeves said it took commitment from everyone from the first player selected to the last to get the job done.
“We’re very lucky to have such a good core group of locals involved with the club who just want to keep coming back year after year,” he said.
“Every single person played their part whether it was having a lot of the ball or doing the one percenters which coaches always ask for.
“It’s a special feeling to win another premiership with this group.”
