He faced the 85-year-old in a Sydney courtroom as he became the fourth alleged victim to give evidence in the retired broadcaster's indecent assault and sexual touching trial.
Jones has pleaded not guilty to 21 charges, after a charge was withdrawn on Monday.
The executive told the court the only time he met Jones was at an event held in Sydney several years ago.
He described talking to the then-ruler of Sydney's airwaves and two other men in the corner of a room when he felt Jones's hand touch his back, move down his spine and rest on his bottom.
The executive said he didn't know how long the hand had stayed there, but he didn't say anything to the veteran broadcaster.
"I didn't want to cause a scene ... I thought that could potentially ruin the night," he said.
"To be honest, I felt a little bit powerless in that situation."
He had not done anything to indicate he wanted to be sexually touched by Jones and hadn't consented to it, the executive said.
He told the court he recounted what happened to his boss that night and confided in a colleague in the following days.
"I said I felt disgusting and powerless and it's really the first time I have understood what women have been going through for all these years," the executive said.
He resolutely stuck by his account when grilled by Jones's barrister Gabrielle Bashir SC under cross-examination, rejecting suggestions he had not been groped by her client.
"He didn't touch you inappropriately in any fashion?" Ms Bashir asked.
"He absolutely did," the executive replied.
Jones emailed him after the event and he replied but they didn't see each other again, the court was told.
The executive accepted he had spoken positively about Jones in the days after the alleged incident and recommended he be invited to an upcoming event.
But in other communication, he emphasised he was not the veteran broadcaster's biggest fan.
The executive agreed he had referred to Jones as a "pig" when speaking to his colleague and also journalist Kate McClymont, whom he contacted after she wrote an article in 2023 about allegations against Jones.
"(Calling him a pig) was based on the article I read and my personal experience … (of) when he touched me," the executive said.
He said he disclosed the alleged groping to McClymont but didn't authorise her to publish the information, becoming upset when seeing his anonymised allegations in a later article.
The executive said he wasn't aware McClymont recorded their phone conversation and hadn't given her permission to do so.
McClymont will be called to give evidence before the NSW Local Court hearing at a later stage.
After speaking to the journalist, the executive made a statement to police.
Jones has been charged with one count of sexual touching without consent against the executive, which he denies.
The executive is the fourth of five complainants to testify against the 85-year-old and has elected to face him in person.
The former Wallabies coach has pleaded not guilty to 19 charges of indecent assault and two charges of sexual touching without consent against five men.
One charge of indecent assault against a 17-year-old boy was withdrawn and dismissed at the prosecution's request on Monday.
Jones argues all of the allegations - which date from 2003 to the end of his highly influential 35-year broadcasting career in 2020 - have all been concocted.
