It has always been the ambition to grow numbers and provide a welcoming venue for artists of all ages and talents.
The Berrigan Shire has provided the Art Network with these facilities, which are warm in winter and cool in summer, for which the group is extremely appreciative.
An invitation is extended to anyone interested in art of any form; no need for outstanding talent. The current members will make sure you can learn in an enjoyable environment while trying something new.
The next exhibition at the gallery will open on June 20.
This will be a display of two or three favourite paintings of the group, which will also be available to purchase. There will also be a small raffle to help raise funds to keep the clubhouse operating.
The popular tea and coffee, along with delicious cakes and sandwiches donated by the members, will again be available at a reasonable price of $5.
Make sure you go along, take a friend or two with you, and enjoy time out while examining some of the great work done by these talented artists.
It will be at the gallery in Denison St from 10.30am and continuing for as long as visitors wish to stay.

The monthly movie morning at the Finley Uniting Church Hall will be held on Thursday, June 18 at 10am.
This is a great opportunity to enjoy a relaxed morning while catching up with friends and making new ones.
Also, it’s a way for newcomers to the town to get to know local residents. All are most welcome.

The Finley Hospital Auxiliary Op Shop is a great place to visit with heaps of winter clothing, woollies, books and special items available to purchase. And, of course, an opportunity to have a chat with the lovely volunteers.
All funds raised by the Op Shop are used to purchase additional items for our local hospital to provide extra facilities for treatment of patients.
The Finley Branch of United Hospital Auxiliaries of NSW Inc is proud to announce that it has recently provided funds to purchase a respiratory device for Finley Hospital to assist patients with breathing problems.

Just a reminder that the Finley Pioneer Railway Museum is now open to the public on a regular basis, each Fridays between 1.30pm and 3.30pm.
This is another important facility provided by volunteers and an added attraction to the other museums in Finley.

Members of Finley Lions Club are to be commended for the cheery greeting they give to everyone who stops to purchase a ticket in the wood raffle each Saturday morning, regardless of the weather conditions.
Marty ‘Robbo’ Robertson was the lucky winner last week, and will no doubt make good use of the trailer load of wood.
