KYABRAM Police believe a truck and utility collided at the intersection of Peppertree Lane and White Road just before 10am on Monday, July 6.
The driver of the ute, a 63-year-old Eaglehawk man, was airlifted to hospital in a critical condition.
His passenger, a 34-year-old Kangaroo Flat man, was also airlifted with serious injuries.
The sole occupant of the truck, a 41-year-old Kyabram man, was uninjured and is currently assisting police with their enquiries.
The intersection remains closed and will be for some time while police process the scene.
Detectives are investigating the cause of the collision and urge anyone who witnessed it or with dash cam footage to come forward.

TWO people have been airlifted to a Melbourne hospital following a two-vehicle collision at the corner of White Rd and Peppertree Ln, Girgarre this morning.
One of the people involved is in critical condition.
Police, SES, Road Rescue, Ambulance and Air Ambulance were all called to the scene.
A Kyabram Police spokesperson said Major Collisions Investigations Unit (MCIU) is en-route from Melbourne to assist Campaspe Highway Patrol with the investigation.
The intersection will remain closed for a period of time to allow officers to complete the investigation.
