Kyabram remains winless in the Goulburn Valley Netball League in 2026, falling to Mansfield in round seven action.

After starting the year with doubts they could field a side, the Bombers had an encouraging 11 players suit up for them at home against the Eagles.

Ky hung tough in the opening minutes, earning a brief lead, but Mansfield was able to seize control later in the opening quarter, getting up 15-6 by the first break.

Coach Emma Quinn moved the magnets around consistently during the contest, testing out different combinations in the search for synergies.

Mansfield ran away with the game in the second half, and closed out the match a 67-29 winner.

The league is on hiatus next weekend for a general bye, providing Kyabram additional time to prepare for a clash with Shepparton United (2-5) on May 30.

The Bombers will again be at home for that contest at Kyabram Recreation Reserve.
