The Bombers’ Under 16 side tackles the second semi-final in the Goulburn Murray Football League’s division one competition.
Kyabram, being coached by club legend Paul Newman, meets Shepparton Swans with the winner going straight into the grand final.
The match is being played at Mooroopna with a 3pm start.
The young Bombers finished on top of the ladder and boosted its hopes of going deep into the finals with a hard-fought win over the Echuca Murray Bombers before a big crowd at Kyabram on Sunday.
The game was in the balance right to final siren, with both side at times producing impressive and fruitful passages of play.
Echuca started the contest on top, leading by 10 after the first quarter, but the Bombers turned things around in the second, kicking four goals to two to lead narrowly at the break.
The game was locked up at three-quarter time, but the Bombers kicked the only goals of the fourth to win 9.7 (61) to 6.11 (47).
Kyabram had standouts in defenders Ethan Greiner and Riley Nicholson, while midfielders and onballers Max Stockdale, Billy Isaac and hard nut Charlie Pekin were also key players in the win.
Sam Bruhn had several roles in the game and accepted each challenge, while Kade Drew was another prominent player for the Bombers.
Coach Newman said it was a good win against good opposition, with every player having a crack.
