On Saturday, we travelled to Mathoura and welcomed Emilee Sneddon in for her senior debut, everyone was super excited.
All the girls were going out there with drive to win after going down by one goal last week.
The girls played well and, after the first quarter, they pulled together and encouraged each other.
They went into the last quarter with an equal scoreboard.
Not willing for a repeat of the week before, they rallied together with some exceptional passages of play and took the win by six goals.
This game was made extra special with Gracie Rice playing her 100th club game with the Saints.

B-grade: Berrigan 39 def Mathoura 35.
Round three saw our first win of the season against Mathoura, with a team effort from start to finish.
The girls worked hard all game, and it really showed with everything coming together so well.
Jodi Hawes was strong in defence, applying great pressure, while Sophia-Ruby Morgan was outstanding in goals.
It was also a special moment seeing her play alongside her mum Bianca for the first time.
A well-deserved win and great step forward for the Saints.

A fantastic team performance from the Saints, showcasing strong cohesion and determination across the entire court.
The defensive end was outstanding, applying relentless pressure and giving the opposition little to no breathing room, forcing errors and creating valuable turnovers.
With a few smart adjustments in the attacking end, the girls were able to settle into their structures, finding their flow and rhythm.
Ball movement became smoother and more purposeful, with strong connections through the mid-court and into the ring, resulting in some excellent passages of play.
It was a well-rounded performance with contributions right across the team, highlighting both skill and composure under pressure.
There is clearly plenty of quality netball still to come from this side, a very exciting glimpse of what’s ahead this season.

A super close and hard-fought game by the ressies, with both sides going toe-to-toe right until the final whistle.
It was a great opportunity to trial a few new combinations, giving us valuable insight into some really strong and exciting options moving forward into the season.
The defensive pressure was outstanding, consistently challenging the opposition and creating opportunities for turnovers.
At times, we were just caught out with a few rushed passes, but these are easy fixes and part of building that on-court connection.
The girls are working incredibly well together and continue to build a strong foundation each week.
It’s great to see the side coming together so cohesively, and there’s a real sense of momentum building.
We’re looking forward to locking in and taking it up to Blighty in our twilight match, it’s shaping up to be a great contest.

Such an improvement from last week.
We showed much better ball movement down the court, with stronger and cleaner passing and more confident feeding into the circle.
The focus is now putting together four full quarters and not letting it drop away at any stage.
Emilee Sneddon played her first game for the season, and what a return it was. Starting in defence and finishing in the shooter, she didn’t miss a beat the whole game.
Sophia-Ruby Morgan stuck to her game this week, was composed, and worked the ring beautifully.
Maddie Rice kept the team flowing through the centre, with outstanding drives, ball placement and work rate all game.
Princess Arcasitas, who is short but mighty, moved beautifully across the court and adjusted really well when shifting from shooter into WA.
If we can bring that same intensity and consistency across all four quarters, we’re in a great position heading into next week.

The under-15s got off to a strong start, even with a few new position changes early on.
Moving Darcie Smith into defence proved to be a great decision, resulting in her having a great game.
Through the midcourt the girls worked hard to create space and kept the ball moving down the court.
Our shooters worked hard and got up some great goals despite heavy pressure in the ring.
It is very inspiring watching the level of determination the girls show on the court.

The girls put on an outstanding performance, with the scoreboard certainly not doing justice to the quality of the game played.
Jessie Rice was dominant on the rebounds, getting hands to everything and applying relentless pressure throughout.
Edie Gemmill was electric down the court, maintaining strong defensive pressure, providing excellent backup, and playing a key role in creating turnovers.
Matilda Doyle showed great sharpness with her movement in the attacking ring, but it was her defensive effort that truly stood out, bringing a strong and commanding presence.
Emma James’ persistence on court was exceptional and contagious, lifting the entire side as every player dug deep and worked tirelessly for one another.

Under-11s: Not scored.
The under-11s took their game to the next level this week. Every member was on fire with their footwork and pushed forward to make space.
Lizzy and Sienna had quick hands in defence.
Sylvia and Alexis helped guide the ball through the centre seamlessly.
Ella and Lacey each with four goals each were stand outs across the court.
